Training opportunity: tourism and hospitality (Beenleigh)

Club Beenleigh is offering a fully funded training and work experience program ideal for anyone looking to gain employment in tourism and hospitality.

Find out more at a  free information session on Monday 5 June at 10am at club Beenleigh, 20-28 Alamein St, Beenleigh.

Course training units include:

  • Responsible Service of Alcohol
  • Serve Food and Beverage or Operate Bar
  • Use Hygienic Practices for Food Safety
  • Provide Service to Customers

Course start date: 7-14 June 2017

Work Placement: Club Beenleigh and other hospitality venues around the area.

Assistance: Students will get two full days with Jobs Skills Queensland and also get either a $100 Go Card or $100 fuel card to assist them to get to and from the program and placement.

Participants must meet the following criteria:

  • Australia/New Zealand Citizen
  • permanent resident
  • on a visa on the pathway to becoming a permanent resident
  • living in Queensland
  • not currently studying any other course.
