First Focus have just embarked on the hunt for another onsite Technical Support professional to join our Queensland team. We are looking for someone with proven technology experience working in the field, someone who is a safe pair of hands for our customer's IT difficulties and someone who has a passion for making customers happy. This full-time permanent role will see you responsible for supporting the technology environment of one of our larger clients. You will be exposed to the array of technical challenges in their environment and, while supported by our Service Desk and Engineering teams, will be the First Focus person on the spot, helping this customer face to face, working out of their new, purpose built offices. Requirements The ideal candidate for this role will possess most, if not most of the following:

  • The ability to provide onsite support to our customer, based in the northern Gold Coast area
  • Outstanding English communication skills, both in person and on the phone
  • Competence in the effective management of customer relationships in a way that is both professional and upbeat
  • Stellar skills in Microsoft heavy environments, including hands on skills with Windows 8 and 10, AD, Windows Server troubleshooting, Windows desktops and Office365
  • Good understanding of backup systems, AV, UPS and phone systems
  • Proven experience providing networking support, preferably in Cisco and Fortinet
  • Solid abilities in racking and cable management
  • Great troubleshooting skills combined with calmness under pressure
  • Experience working within an IT outsourcer or an Managed Service Provider
